Everything in the editor is free for signed-in users — all 200+ component sizes, 170+ templates, every generator, CSV data merge, AI image generation, custom fonts, Google Drive sync, and standard PNG/JPEG/WebP export. The Rare plan is only needed for hi-res print exports: 300 DPI files, PDFs with crop marks, and other print-shop formats. You can design a complete card game without spending a cent.
Your projects are saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage and IndexedDB), and Chitmunk Cloud syncs your work across devices when you're signed in. You can also sync projects to Google Drive for an additional cloud backup.
Absolutely. You're free to use Chitmunk to design cards for commercial board games, card games, and any other products. The designs you create are yours. Just note that if you use third-party clip art (like icons from the Clip Art Browser), check their individual licenses, most are CC0 or MIT, but it's good practice to verify.
